Double Carteret Shooting: What We Know

Two people were flown to the hospital after being shot in Carteret Wednesday morning, June 12, officials said.

The incident happened outside of a Roosevelt Avenue home around 9 a.m., Mayor Dan Reiman said.

UPDATE: 2 Females Shot, 1 Dead In Carteret; Suspect Sought, Police Say

Carteret Police, mutual aid and other emergency services were on scene as of press time. 

Out of an abundance of caution, Minue School located a half-mile away from the incident was locked down, Reiman noted.
